RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Group registration should preferably be done online before the start of event.

2. Participants can paint their own imagination as there is no restriction on theme.

4. On spot entries are allowed but verification of design needs to be done from the event coordinator before painting on wall.

1. There will be total 4 rounds.

2. The rounds will be revealed on the spot.

3. Only Hindi movie songs are allowed in any round.

4. No song can be repeated in the same round.

5. However, you can sing the same song from any of the previous rounds.

6. For each correct answer, you will get 10 points.

7. For each wrong answer or no answer if it is your turn, you will get -5 points.

8. If none of the participants from a team can give the correct answer, the question will be passed to the next team.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. This is an INDIVIDUAL event and is open to everyone attending UDGAM.

2. Entries with offensive or inappropriate content or those which promote any specific brand will be disqualified.

3. The photographs submitted must be the genuine, original work of the participant.

4. The photographs have to be taken during the fest. No old photographs will be accepted for the contest.

5. Any device can be used to capture the photo.

6. The copyrights of the pictures will stay with the photographer. However, Udgam team has the right to use the pictures for publicity or other activities.

7. Under any circumstance, entries once submitted cannot be taken back for modifications.

8. Requests for extending the deadline will not be entertained at any cost.

9. The judges’ decision is final. No discussion or correspondence will be entertained regarding the same

10. The judges and the organizers reserve the right to cancel or vary the position awarded in case of any discrepancies.

11. All submissions have to be mailed to undersign.

12. Please read the photograph specifications very carefully. Failing to adhere to the format will lead to disqualification.

13. The submitted photos should not be posted in any social media platforms till the competition is over.

14. Participants are not allowed to tag people on the photographs when it is uploaded on Facebook by the organizers.

15. The photographs can be edited by using any software except Photoshop i.e the photo can’t be altered to include additional elements.

16. Participants are to submit details of the device used and the editing app used, along with the photographs.

17. If edited, the original photographs must also be submitted with the edited ones

18. Candids and event photos are accepted. Any selfie or group photos wouldn’t be accepted.

EVENT FORMAT:

The photography contest will happen on all the days of the fest. Participants can submit a only 1 photograph on any day and the same photograph cannot be submitted again. The photographs have to be sent to the above mentioned mail ids.The some of the photos will then be displayed on the udgam facebook page or Instagram page.

PHOTOGRAPH SPECIFICATIONS:

1. Images should be in JPEG Format only.

2. The minimum resolution of the pictures must be 3 Mega Pixels.

3. The total file size must be less than 30 MB

4. The EXIF data of the photograph must remain intact

5. Photographs must not have any borders, signatures, names, personal logos or watermarks.

6. Post processing of the pictures is allowed, but changes like modifications to background will lead to disqualification.

7. If processed, the original for the post-processed image should be submitted.

8. No restrictions on the type of camera or mobile phone that can be used.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. The quizzing event is broadly divided into Screening Round and Stage Rounds.

2. Only team entries are eligible and a team shall consist of 3 members.

3. A screening round will be conducted to shortlist minimum 6 teams from the pool of registered teams, for the stage rounds. This round will consist of 60 questions and will be of 1 hour duration.

4. The decision of the quiz organising committee will be final and will not be subjected to any change in case.

5. The use of mobile or any other information retrieval system is strictly system is strictly probhited.

6. Replcement of any team member is not allowed after registration.

7. In event of tie at the end of the Stage rounds, a set of 5 questions will be asked to each team as a tiebreaker.

8. The structure of the stage rounds will be disclosed later.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Each team shall consist of two members.

2. The competition will consist of several levels and each level will have different segments.

3. In the first segment each team will be given a time of 3 minutes in which that team will present and elaborate their points.

4. The team supposed to speak in motion will be the one to introduce the topic and elaborate their views as to why they are favouring the motion.

5. The team opposing the motion will be next to speak(again for 3minutes).

6. Next segment will be of 5 minutes of affirmations and rebuttals between the favouring and opposing teams.

7. In the end jury and audience will be asking questions to the debaters.

8. 8Topics will be given a day before the event, but favour or motion will be decided few hours before the event.

3. Each side has to decide on who three players will bat, meaning that the loss of two wickets ends the Super Over.

4. There will be one free hit in each inning but can’t be taken on last ball.

5. The run made on the last ball will get double.

6. There will be league matches.

• If the super over ends in a tie, the first satisfied of the following criteria's will determine the winner:

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Initials of the plot will be given to the participant beforehand.

2. Each participant will be given a time limit of 10 minutes to frame the story.

3. Participants need to narrate their story at least till 3 minutes.

4. No story should be framed in accordance to any pre-heard tale.

5. You can carry a piece of paper and pen for convenience.

6. Judgement will be based on how interesting your narration is and how well you end the story.

TUG OF WAR

Wanna show your physical strength?...... then this is for you.

Rules and regulations:

1. Each team consists of 8 members and 2 substitutes.

2. The rope must be pulled underarm and nobody’s elbow must go below the knee otherwise a foul will be called.

3. No knots or loops shall be made in the rope, nor shall it be locked across any part of the body of any member of the team.

4. In case any team found breaking the rules would be disqualified.

5. Both teams pull the rope, the winner being the team who manage to pull the mark on the rope closest to their opponents over the center line.

6. Matches are often a best of 3 pull, the winner winning 2 out of the 3 pulls.

7. Tournament will be conducted on knock-out basis.

ARM WRESTLING

VENUE:  Academic Block

Arm wrestling requires power, strength but all arm wrestlers must confine themselves to the rules of the game.

Rules And Regulations:

1. The competitors should approach the table, make themselves comfortable and then grip their opponent's hand. The grip should be palm to palm with the thumb knuckle visible. The competitors other hands should grip their respective hand peg.

2. Once the referees are happy with the grip from both competitors, the contest will begin. Each competitor should attempt to pin their opponent’s arm onto the touch pad.

3. Pressure should be in a sideways capacity to force their opponent's hand to the touch pad. Back pressure in an attempt to drag the opponent off toward the centre of the table is not allowed.

4. The match is won when one competitor pins their opponent’s hand onto the touch pad. At this point, if the head referee is happy that it is a valid pin, they will shout ‘Stop!’ and indicate the inner by immediately raising their arm.

5. There are numerous fouls that can be committed in Arm Wrestling. These include touching a part of your own body during the match, crossing their shoulder into the opposition area, dropping the shoulder below the height of the touch pad, foul language, abuse or poor sportsmanship to name a few

6. Two warnings will be consider as one foul and two foul results in disqualification of an opposite participant.
